Meet Hope
As a new stylist in 2010, Hope White “interviewed” prospective salon employers by visiting them as a client to gauge their levels of customer service and quality. When none of the salons she screened met her high standards, she opened her own.
Her vision for a world-class guest experience remains the foundation of Salon Thirty-One. Since it opened in Spanish Fort, the salon has received multiple accolades including the Salon Today 200, Best Salon in Baldwin County and Nappie Awards of Baldwin County, all multiple years. In 2020, a year most salons were closing their doors and consolidating, this thriving business opened a second location in Fairhope. And in 2021, they opened a third location in Gulf Shores.
Hope is passionate about all things salon and making guests’ hair dreams come true. Her special talents as a stylist include hair color techniques (she is a certified Aveda Color Educator). As a leader, her talents include growing her team and helping them to identify and achieve their goals; and as a salon owner, they include following through on visions for profit-sharing and opening a new location every two years.
Giving back to the community is an important part of Salon Thirty-One’s culture, with the salon supporting at least 15 worthwhile causes a year including local schools, churches, and sponsoring a family for the holidays.
Outside the salon, Hope enjoys travel, fashion and shopping, decorating, design, and spending time with her family and friends.
